Yogi Adityanath rakes up ‘Love Jihad’ issue in Kerala

While leading his march against the alleged killing of RSS workers in Kerala, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has raked up the issue of ‘Love Jihad’ and said that it was a “dangerous trend”.

“‘Love Jihad’ is a dangerous trend. The Supreme Court has already passed an order on it and the NIA is investigating it,” Adityanath said.

He has also urged the Kerala government to take a serious look at cases of ‘Love Jihad’ in the state.

The BJP campaign against the purported political murders was flagged off by party president Amit Shah at Kannur on Tuesday.

“There is no scope for political violence in a democracy but unfortunately Kerala, God’s own land, is witnessing politically sponsored violence,” Adityanath told.

“With this ‘yatra’ we will make people aware about the misrule of the CPI(M). People are also coming out in huge numbers in support of this,” he added.
