Nokia 5 3GB RAM variant launched in India

After launching the Nokia 5 in India in June, and then finally making it available to buy in August, HMD Global on Monday announced a new 3GB RAM variant of the smartphone for the country.

To recall, the original variant featured 2GB of RAM, and was priced at Rs 12,499.

The company recently made headlines in the country with the global launch of the Nokia 2. The cheapest Android smartphone from HMD Global yet, the Nokia 2 will be available to buy in India from mid-November, the company said.

Nokia 5 3GB RAM variant price in India is Rs 13,499. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart for one week starting November 7.

After this online exclusivity period, on November 14, the Nokia 5 will become available to buy via select retail outlets across the country.

The variant will be stocked in Matte Black and Tempered Blue colour, HMD Global said in an emailed statement. To recall, the original had been launched in Copper and Silver colours additionally.
