Green Mango Chutney Recipe


Raw green mango- 1
Red chilli powder- 1tsp
Fenugreek seeds- a pinch
Cumin seeds- a pinch
Mustard seeds- a pinch
Bay leaf- 1
Turmeric powder- 1tsp
Sugar- 12tsp
Salt- as per taste
Oil- 1tsp
Water- ¼ cup


1.Cut the raw mango into medium sized pieces. You can either peel them or simply cut them into pieces.

2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Season with bay leaf. Add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds and mustard seeds.

3.Now add the mango slices and then mix well.

4.Add salt, sugar, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix well.

5.Pour little water and mix well. Pressure cook for the duration of 1 whistle.

Serves: 1 small bowl
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
