CPI(M) stands for Communist Party(Maoist): Prakash Javadekar

Defending the Rashtriya Svyayamsevak Sangh (RSS) after Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s attack, Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar lashed out at the CPI(M), terming it the “Communist Party- Maoist”.

“The CPI(M) has always indulged in murder politics in Kerala. Even in West Bengal their track record was bad but in Kerala, particularly, Communist Party is not Communist Party-Marxist, it is Communist Party- Maoist. They believe in violence. They use violence as a tool”, Minister said.

Javadekar blamed the CPI(M) for the murders of 124 innocent BJP and national organisation workers.

“Kannur, the CM’s own district, has become a minefield; more than 84 murders,” Javadekar said, adding that the government was not taking any action against the accused, but instead was providing them protection.
