BMW introduces X6, priced at Rs 94.15 lakhs

BMW has introduced a new petrol engine option to its Coupe-SUV, the X6.

Priced at Rs 94.15 lakhs, ex-showroom, the 35i M Sport will be the entry-level BMW X6 in the Indian car market, making the SUV more accessible to the Indian buyer while also competing with the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe 43 AMG.

The petrol engine under the X6 35i’s hood is a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbocharged unit that makes 306hp at 5,800-6,400rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,200-5,000rpm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a standard eight-speed automatic.

The diesel 40d M Sport is powered by a 313hp, 3.0-litre straight-six unit.
